She felt his power surge through her. Oh how wonderful it was to be able to ride again. He stretched out, ears perked and eyes of ebonite shone. Zanzibar was a magnificent horse, the way he moved showed his confidence, his handsome features always there. But never would he fail her. The trails were stretched for miles, she could ride without looking she knew that quiet well, and so could Zanzibar. Every step he took was like a dream. They floated over the ground and danced as one. Oh she loved getting outside, well at least away from the stable. She missed the others, at least the two twins. They were great friends, but somehow a newcomer had gotten famous. What was her name? Alto didn’t know. Did she feel threatened? Well not really. She had her time here and would forever be famous for taming the wild snow ghost. She loved this horse and he was only hers now, but it bothered her that the reason was taming a palomino painted mare. Was it perhaps her friends’ lover? Or, more like the stallion would say, a friend. (In his own language of course)
They ran upwards, not bothered or taken lightly on. They were a magnificent pair. Her hair was pulled back under the helmet while his black tack shone in the sunlight. Coming forward she let him stretch out again. He heaved forward with his ears perking. He loved running; oh he loved it so much. His long mane danced rather cunningly at her cheek and he felt how she urged him to have fun. The stallion showed no mercy at anyone in the area and many animals cried out in surprise seeing the white ghost and his angel. They were one again. The large plain soon entered her view and the young girl soon enough calmed him down. Phantom danced slowly backwards until he halted. Nibbling on his bit until he felt her weight being off his back, cranium turned nudging the young girl and she smiled. He was such a sweetheart. She took off his saddle and switched the bridle with a halter. ”Ok big guy, let us practice a little shall we?” She mounted the handsome horse bareback and sat straight and calm.
His head bowed gracefully as she let him move forward. Slowly she led him to their usual show. His strides went to the sides, left over right and vice versa. His legs moved like dancing, one forward then another almost like posing but too fast for it as well. His tail danced with the rhythm as they went in a circle, then into a pose and suddenly their dance was let loose. His head went back and forth, showing off but again you would never see the stallion out of his rhythm. He knew what he was doing and he could show it perfectly. Armelia wasn’t bad looking either. She was wearing an old dress, probably from the 18th century. Its gentle shade of lavender and blue matched perfectly while the over part hugged her curves while the rest danced out over the stallion’s rear. She had released her hair now and it danced with the newly added breeze as the pair was like magic together. [/blockquote]

Justin Fletcher :: 19 Justin stood quietly in the woods half hidden as he held on tightly to Nanooks lead he had been about to let the excitable young husky off the lead to run when he had spotted them. The beautiful Armelia and her stunning white stallion, they both moved through the trees with such style and grace, it was as if they were one. Justin knew she was a friend of the twins, and he had met her once or maybe twice himself but he was sure that he had taken more notice of her then she had of him. He was a rather shy person and he hadn’t really had the courage to say much to her when they first met, or the second time for that mater. He was a year older then her, yet he was terrible at talking to people, Nanook was the only thing he was comfortable talking to other then Belle there was something about her that didn’t seem threatening. Not that Armelia seemed threatening per say she was just way out of his league even when it came to friendship, did we mention that he was a very shy person with low self esteem? Justin was the sort of person who didn’t function well when other humans were around yet give him something to do with technology and he would know all about it in minutes. He could fix any technological problem with ease which was why he was the one people called when appliances went wrong. As he focused on the stallion and the girl moving so effortlessly as one his grasp on the straining dog must have lessened, either that or Nanook was just that eager to go and make new friends that even if he had a super hero grasp he wouldn’t have been able to hold on to her. As before he knew it the pesky husky was bounding along the beach lead dragging along behind like a serpent as he made a bee line for the stallion barking happily in greeting. Justin on the other hand groaned and stepped out of his hiding place calling out to Nanook hoping the silly dog would stop and come back but like most kids his dog had selective hearing and was choosing now to use it. “Great just what I need her to think I’m a total geek who not only cant control my own dog but… oh who and I kidding she probably already thinks that.”He muttered to himself as he ran after the dog in an attempt to stop her before she made it to the horse, diving head first into the undergrowth he managed to grab hold of her lead and pull her up about 5 meters away from the horse he hoped that was far enough away for the horse not to get spooked and trample him as he was not spread eagle on the ground clasping the lead firmly in both his hands, with Nanook still straining to get closer. He became acutely aware of a sharp pain in his side and was sure a stick or something had pierced the skin but didn’t want to sit up to find out.

They were in a trance. Strides stretching, mane and hair flowing in the wind, the magic seemed to be never ending, until a dog made both of the snap out. But he didn’t flinch; he had too much pride to do such a foolish thing. Armelia on the other hand narrowed her eyes only to see Nanook and released a smile. So Justin was the one hiding? Well, she should’ve known. He was such a shy boy, didn’t even exchange a glance with her. A pity though, he was cute. Alto slid down his large safe spine and patted the white massive neck. For an Andalusian he was quiet large and massive but he was handsome after all. And she looked at Nanook running around like a fool, a laugh escaped from her lips, she loved that little pup.
Phantom on the other hand wasn’t truly satisfied seeing the little pup and snorted unsatisfied. He shook his head and started to graze not far away not really bothered by being free, he had felt the freedom, but had his own freedom with loads of mare’s and of course, Armelia. Her eyes rolled seeing him totally ignore the pup and the now lying male and somehow it looked like he was in pain. Turning to Phantom she noticed the arrogant stare and couldn’t keep her voice shut. ”Quit being a child darling. She’s just a pup and I think her owner is hurt. Care to help?” He shook his head furiously and she sighed. Why bother trying, her drama kind couldn’t be dirty on his precious hooves. The dress was hard to manoeuvre fast in. I mean, it was probably five different covers with colors and silk or anything else. It was heavy as she walked to them, sitting down beside him a grin appeared on her lips as she spoke to Justin without hesitation.
”I see you got your punishment for watching a lady and her mount dancing. I must say Justin, I am disappointed in you. What will the twins think about this?” She winked so ever faintly at him, she was joking the whole time, and that was Armelia, or Alto as many called her. She was always there around jokes or figured something out with the twins, she was like their smaller sister, well, she was like a little sister to everyone. But she had many males wanting to marry her. She couldn’t carry everything she got from them anymore either but there was something else happening. The breeze danced once again. She heard a noise, hooves dancing and looked behind her. Phantom had found a playmate. Slowly the pair of snow equine and ebonite equine rendered in a dance. Hooves were parallel as they went up and down, head’s close to each other as they made a turn. Head swung with their tails. Soon they danced forward again, too the side then back never getting out of sync. They went into a circle, Armelia clapping in excitement as the pair danced so ever lovingly together. And suddenly it was the finish, they backed up to each other before rearing ears perking and she laughed again. ”They were amazing, weren’t they!?” She looked back at Justin and smiled with her eyes shining and soon enough, Phantom came trotting and lay down behind her nibbling softly without panting and looked at the boy with his gentle and protective ebonite eyes. But this was of course just Phantom, but you’ll have to admit, you’ll want to ride him, right? [/blockquote]

Justin Fletcher :: 19 Still laying on the ground not wanting to stand up and see what he had done to his stomach he chose not to snap back at her comments, he wasn’t that sort of person. Nanook even seemed to be watching with interest and awe as the two danced. Once Phantom can to lay down behind her he finally decided he couldn’t just lay there forever besides it felt like the stick was being driven in further the longer he lay there and it was highly uncomfortable. “Amazing”He agreed as he gently rose to his knees looking down he saw that there was still a reasonable sized stick hanging out of the side of his stomach. Grabbing the stick he took a deep breath in and pulled it out letting out a small groan as it slid out of his stomach and began to bleed. Having nothing else he took off his shirt and bunched it up using it to apply pressure to the wound. “And for the record I was just trying to stop Nanook from interrupting you”He said as he dug his hand into his stomach applying pressure as he got to his feet Nanook came to sit by his feet whimpering. Justin smiled and patted her gently, it was as if she knew she had caused this pain to him. “It’s alright girl, its just a scratch”He said gently to the Pup, she stopped whining but she didn’t move from her spot right beside him all but sitting on his feet.

She smiled at his words but frowned when she noticed his wound. So he really had tripped and gotten hurt. Well, it was Justin and even though she wanted to joke with it she couldn’t help but speak gently. “And so instead you followed her and got yourself hurt? Seriously Justin, we need to take you to the hospital and no you can not walk. You need to sit on Phantom.” The stallion gave a snort in protest but got a stern look instead which made him only murmur in displeasure. She had been the only one riding him and she would ride him now as well only it was behind Justin. “And I won’t take no for an answer. That’s no scratch; now get your little rump on that horse.” Her eyes were challenging but also showed she meant it. She rose from her sitting state and walked over. Gently the female pulled the male up, her hair danced over his neck while she got him up and made him sit on the horse. Patting the horse after taking a seat behind him she felt Phantom rock a little until he finally got onto his feet after snorting again, he did really not like this.
Her eyes went to the tack but she only shook her head. They could get it later, this was more important. Looking at Nanook she smiled at the dog. “You can come too, be a little demon towards Phantom so he can behave.” She smiled teasingly until leaning her head over to Justin whispering softly into his air. “Don’t worry, just keep the wound from bleeding too much and we’ll be down at the hospital in no time.” Clicking her tongue the horse got into a smooth trot which soon glided into a canter down the path. She knew every short cut but kept the horse from cantering full as she didn’t want them to run from Nanook as well as she didn’t want to hurt Justin more than he would if they took the worst short cuts.

Justin Fletcher :: 19 Justin felt quite uncomfortable on the horse he wasn’t really a horse person, he had never ridden before in his life and now here he was pushed into climbing on a stallion no less. Shirtless and with a hole in his stomach, well this was going to be a fun first ride he thought as he waited trying to hold onto anything he could as well as keeping his shirt to the wound on his stomach. As she climbed up behind him, he felt even more uncomfortable and hearing her speak to Nanook he knew she would follow easily, anywhere he went she was never far behind and besides even if the stallion moved to fast for her to keep up Justin knew she would just follow the scent. Justin had to fight to keep his eyes open his first instinct was to shut them tightly and wait for this all to be over so he could stand on solid ground again. He didn’t know Armelia all that well but he did know that there was no point in arguing with her, once she had something in her mind there was no changing it so instead he remained silent and concentrated on keeping the wound blocked and his grip on the stallion. He could faintly hear Nanook running along with them and looked down to see the husky looking up at him with her odd coloured eyes. He smiled down at her, and the longer they were on the stallion the more he began to relax and realize that these things weren’t as frightening as he had first thought. As a matter of fact he was rather enjoying himself, now and if it wasn’t for the pain in his stomach he would have been enjoying it a hell of a lot more.
